AWARD WINNING ARTIST

I decided to enter my Queen Elizabeth school lino print in the Godmanchester Town Show. There were lots of categories for fruit and veg, crafts, baking, photography and art.

I was lucky enough to walk away with top marks in the adult category and then the overall award for Best Art in Show. It really made my day.

It was a fantastic community event that was really well supported by the good people of Godmanchester. The trophy is taking pride of place on our 'trophy shelf' for the coming year.

I think next year I will enter some produce from the allotment into the show as well and possibly some of my famous rhubarb and ginger jam.
