A few months ago I was contacted by St Paul's to do a 1 off lino print as a gift for someone that was retiring from the Cathedral.
As part of that project the team were so happy with the finished piece they asked me to produce a screenprint using the lino as inspiration to sell as a Limited Edition St Paul's Cathedral Screenprint in an edition of 100. How could I refuse?
The original piece took me over a week to cut and adding a tissue paper blue sky and gold leaf details added to the print to make it really lovely.
The new print is in my usual black and white style but with gold ink detail.
The print has a secret easter egg detail in there. A ood to the Catherdals past hidden in plain site. If you know, you know.
I had the honour of signing the prints in a romm watched over by Sir Christopher Wren himself before they were boxed in tubes without plastic stoppers making them a plastic free gift that the St Paul's shop hope to roll out to all their other prints.
The print was printed by the talented folk at Printclub London using their Tuckshop studio, so thank you to Sam for doing such a sterling job.
The print is available now A3 in size in an edition of 100 for £85 from the St paul's shop located in the Crypt.
