I submitted a piece to an artist call for entries I saw on Instagram. The show at Peterborough Cathedral is called Made in 2022. I was so chuffed to get an email that said they would love to have my piece in their show.
The exhibition follows the success of the Made in Lockdown exhibition held at the Cathedral in 2022. The brief highlighted quite a momentous 12 months from Putins war in Ukraine and our long hot summer that set record temperatures across the UK.
I entered my 'Raging Bull' print inspired by a trip to the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games where the massive bull entered the stadium to gasps from the crowd. I have taken the print and created a one off using gold leaf to highlight certain bits of the bulls face.
